The Big Labowski and Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas are great for college age.

Classics: I don't know, but there are definetely some good ones. Oh, and I liked Tombstone and Wyatt Earp, but I don't know if those are classics, or if they are "chick-quality."

For Lucky # 7's, those are all good, but I say: full metal jackets the classic that's the best.

Oh and the Vietnam movies: FOREST GUMP (must), Appocolypse Now, Deer Hunter (may not like though), and the other one with Charlie Sheen.

Is that enough?

Very nice Spikes, and that's the point we're trying to get her away from the "chick-quality" ones. Wink

I know all the boys will handle all the war/mafia/action movies, so I'll go a different route:

Young Frankenstein
Blazing Saddles
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Goonies
Animal House
Blues Brothers
Caddyshack

I think the one Spikes was thinking of with Charlie Sheen is Platoon.

Yes it was Platoon. What are you doing up Casey? You need to be sleeping/studying Smiler

I need to add CadeyShack to my list. Also There's Something About Mary (must see), Ace Ventura, Dumb and Dumber, Terminator 2, and The Never Ending Story. She has probably seen some of these, but oh well.

A lot of good stuff here. I'd add "The Right Stuff". I grew up in Merritt Island during the Gemini and Apollo programs, so I'm probably biased.

Also, I'd add "Lars and the Real Girl". It's new, but it's quirky and I think she'd have fun with it.

Cheers,

Goodfellas
Spaceballs
Star Wars IV-VI (you can skip the prequels... it's better that way)
Rocky 1,2,4 and 6 (the others are optional)
Clerks
Chasing Amy (if you like those two, dip further into Kevin Smith with Dogma)
Back to The Future 1-3
Indiana Jones 1-4
Braveheart
First Blood

Rocky Top: Ode to the Faithful and the Toothless.

My personal favorite...

Fight Club.

Not so much about fighting though, its pretty deep.
