Article says they would be looking at Spikes too....problem is he'll be ridin the pine for Vandy

Winning at Doak used to be like trying to have sex with a virgin. If you were lucky, you might have gotten a sniff.

Doak Campbell stadium is now a filthy, disease-infested prostitute, teeming with the stench of other team's victories.

If the Jags want to save the franchise they need to draft Tebow. Tebow would revamp the franchise they might have more then 50000 show up for a game. I am hoping that Tebow plays in the leauge for ten years and then gets into coaching. I guess in my fantasy world I would like to see him on the gator sideline one day as a head coach

In my fantasy world, Tebow coaches my son when he plays for the Gators 18 years from now. Big Grin

Not true. They need to fire DelRio to save the franchise. Then get rid of Garrard and the other crappy players.

Tebow won't be a good fit with the jags. He will need to be in with a team like Miami that runs the wildcat. Unless he can learn to throw the ball properly and not bring the ball so far down he will never be a good QB in the NFL. Look at Byron Leftwich, he has the same problem and sucks.

Dave Garrard is solid. It's the defense thats lousy. Wasn't that supposed to be Del Rio's strongpoint as a coach?

And the gators....take their place in history

Hate to break it to you Tebow will not be a wildcat type QB in the NFL, if he is he will get his neck broke. As for bringing the ball down to the waist I have watched Favre and he brings the ball well below his waist and I guess he has an ok carrer. Teams sometimes change the OFF when they get players who can do certain things.

I agree, I like Danielson but he was way off on this one. He made a statement that a QB can bring the ball down to his shoulder at worst so I was watching the NFL on Sunday to see and I saw Farve and all the other QB's bring it down low on long balls. However Tebow does have a slow release and that is a big detriment in teh NFL, no question about it. I love the idea of Tebow to New England and having Brady and Tebow on the field at the same time. He can block, run, pass, toss the option pitch, etc.

Dude, you're contradicting yourself. Make up your mind. How does the fact that NFL QBs bring the ball real low on LONG pass plays make Danielson way off? 99% of them bring the ball to their ear or shoulder on short and medium range pass plays, that is, on roughly 80% of all pass plays.

His neck broke? How many running backs have gotten their neck broken? There is no doubt that Tebow will be running ball either as a QB or short yardage back.

It was a figure of speech I was trying to say that the short yardage plays he has done at Florida will not be nearly as effective in the NFL. I feel Tebow can make it in the NFL. Over the last 4 years Tebows ability to move the pile has gotten worse. I feel that if he does not make it as a quarterback he will change positions instead of only being able to play a handful of plays a game.
