Disagree.

He probably thinks the same way a lot of us do.

It's about time they started throwing the ball down the field and spreading it around to different receivers.

Go out aggressive, get ahead, make your opponent one dimensional, keep the hammer down.

Honestly....he probably believes his comments have been validated. This is what this team is capable of. This team has the most talent in the nation. Last night they played like it and it all started with Coach Meyer "re-evaluating" everything. Obviously he saw what Shane and others saw and was vocal about it.

I'm sure Shane, like the rest of gator nation, is thrilled with the beat down we put on the Bayou Bengals. If anyone is an idiot, it was our offensive coaching staff for not doing this all season. I am still not a fan of this spread offense but hats off to Meyer and Mullen for a great game plan involving numerous weapons. Clearly, when we utilize our playmakers there is no one in this country that can stop us. That was the main point in my criticisms of our play calling. I'm sure SM feels the same way. Great win for this team and coaching staff. Now lets build on it and run the table for the remainder of the season. GO GATORS!!!!!!

The biggest difference in the offense last night was not the play calling. It was the O-Line. They have struggled all year. Last night the really jelled.

Same plays as have been called all year. They just worked last night. Don't remember any motion penalties or not enough guys on the line (drive killers). Tebow had time to throw and Demps and Rainey had room to run. That was the difference.

You're such a moron. Do you not realize we played significantly better than we have the whole year?

I don't know what you've been watching, but the ball went downfield quite a bit against Ole Miss. The difference then was the throws were off target. That can hardly be blamed on the OC. If the QB fumbles, that can hardly be blamed on the OC. If the line does not execute blocks like they are taught to do, that can hardly be blamed on the OC. Blaming Mullen for our offensive "problems" is oversimplification and just plain stupid.

how can anyone see it any other way

those option plays that demps and rainey broke free on were plays we be runnin all season but with weaker exectution

Listen people and relax. Yes, many of the same gimmicky plays were called last night with success but there were a lot of different players that touched the ball. Most of the time once a series or two is stalled for whatever reason(penalties, turnovers, predictability, etc.)no one else is involved for the rest of the game. The spread(as Meyer and Mullen run it) is sideline to sideline trickery. To their credit, they involved more players from different positions keeping LSU on their heels. Hats off for a good gameplan, but don't be ignorant and tell me we have been doing that all season. Take off your orange and blue goggles for a minute and watch the past games. The spread offense is crap compared to conventional pro-style offenses, which is why you don't see that garbage on Sundays. But as long as we win with it I will cheer just as loud as everyone else.

Of course he will probably take credit for the win. And what do you think about him calling out Tim? That was a bit low and because of that I don't consider Shane a Gator great.

They may have had a couple of downfield throws, but they still only threw it 21 times. They rank 23rd in the country in rushing offense, but rank somewhere near 70th in passing offense. Face it, this is a running offense.
