Much has been made of the FSU cheating scandal suspensions and their first two games aligning with one another. However, further inspection shows that they have it very easy until week 7 when they host Va Tech. With a little luck they could open 5-1 or even 6-0. This stretch of games is almost comical.
Sept. 6, 2008 Western Carolina Sept. 13, 2008 Chattanooga Sept. 20, 2008 Wake Forest Sept. 27, 2008 Colorado Oct. 4, 2008 at Miami-FL Oct. 16, 2008 at NC State First four at home, then average an Miami and NCSU. Then reality will set in: Oct. 25, 2008 Virginia Tech Nov. 1, 2008 at Georgia Tech Nov. 8, 2008 Clemson Nov. 15, 2008 Boston College Nov. 22, 2008 at Maryland Nov. 29, 2008 Florida Pro Bowl RB - Fred Taylor |

Wake has a little win streak going against them, Colorado is improving and Miami had a decent recruiting class. FSU better be careful because they could end up with 5 or 6 losses as well. It could go either way.

I saw a really cute young (22) lady this afternoon on my way out of Tampa who was wearing and fsu t-shirt:
Florida's Sorriest University Stop the fsu threads while the noles battle the Rattlers for Tally's Top Spot, or bottom, depending on your perspective. |

Didn't they actually change their schedule after the suspensions were handed out to purposely make the first 3 games even easier than before?

Indeed, but they couldn't find enough high schools that would actually play them. |

Yeah RIGHT, uf NEVER schedules cupcakes for ANY reason. Isn't Citatal (HS) on your schedule THIS YEAR? Oh I forgot, you finally get the CANES while they are limping around the State and very early in their schedule. And lets NOT talk about Palm Tree University THIS year. . . with their new coach and number of new team members. That should be a real SMASH for an game opener this year!

I didn't know that Chattanooga has a college. They really have a football team?

Well there are 2 differences between us, we play in the SEC you play in the ACC, so we play much tougher teams. The 2nd one is that you guys have us on our schedule(top 10-15 team), while we have 4-6 loss you guys, so your OOC looks tougher some years, but that's only because you have to play us and we have to play you. And it certainly doesn't make up for the difference in competition levels from the SEC to the ACC. |

I can really see F$U starting out the season 5-1 and finishing 2-4 or 1-5. It looks like another 5-6 loss season for the crimiNOLES!
