Just happened upon this vid...check it out starting about 2:50
http://youtube.com/watch?v=a6IGUiDZmcY&feature=related I can't believe how bad his lower body strength and balance is. How can someone be the #1 recruit in the nation when he can't step forward without falling to one side? hmmm. They call him Tebow v2.0. I don't think he's going to be powering through anyone in Division-1 anytime soon. He's not even Cam Newton 2.0. Wow, how do you spin out of a sack with that kind of balance and strength? Who was he playing against in HS? Also, they measured him at 6'3" 225. A little smaller than the 6'6" 235 he was supposed to be. (Also, gotta love the guy at the beginning |

I take it you know Jim?
He looked like a big baby in that diaper. And yeah, he looked like he was doing those tests in a boat during 5 foot swells. ![]() ![]() We Ride! We Fight! We Love! |

They actually call him Vince Young 2.0 because he's a threat to score anytime he touches the ball. |

No, never had the pleasure of meeting him, but he seems like tons of fun. Like every overweight midwestern sports fan with his wall covered in OSU magazine clippings. He looks like he belongs on Bill Swerski's superfans. I just like the "Hey it's Jim with another update" like we have any idea who that is. |

Yeah, until someone bumps into him. I especially like the bodyweight squat where he gets stuck at the bottom. Man that kid needs to hit the weight room or just his RB's alone are going to have more sacks on him than Vince Young took in a season. |

Time will tell whether or not he will become good enough to lead OSU to another blowout loss in the title game.

It's a shame they have to poke and prod him to see if they finally have a Tebow.

Wow, that was pretty awful. I'm out of shape, but I can do lunges without wobbling. He also seems to have a misaligned spine like my own. He stands with one or the other shoulder higher all the time it seemed.

I think I saw that first guy in that video on MSNBC's "To catch a Predator" wearing a Buckeyes hat.

VY was more of a threat to score than Tebow every time he touched the ball? In Vince's most productive year (Senior season), with his combined 480 passing and rushing touches, he scored 38 TDs...thats roughly 13 touches per TD. Tebow on the other hand, in his 560 pass/rush touches, scored 55 times, which works out to right around 10 touches per TD. How is it that VY was more of a scoring threat when he needed more plays to do so? |

Too bad biolab testing does not determine how good all players are. All we would need to win championships is not the best football coach, but the best strength and conditioning coach.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Q8n9dR2R46E&feature=related Pryor looks much taller than all of the other players on the film, and he seems to have pretty good "FOOTBALL" balance. But in a lab, you are right he does not seem to be an All-American. I would not want him on my lab study team. But he could be on my football team every day of the week. |

I agree. Tebow is a far greater threat than VY in college football. GO GATORS!!! Gatorev12: "The Big Eleven is kinda like you're older cousin who was the sh!t in hs, but never amounted to anything and is working at a grocery store and trying to "stay with it." Relevant at one point in his life, but now is past it, knows it, and desperately tries to either prop himself up or amount to something. For another suitable analogy, think of the uncle from Napoleon Dynamite" |

His intangibles are way better too. Strength of charcter, leadership, etc. How long do you think the NFL background check would last for any team thinking of drafting Tebow. Less than a nanosecond. |
