i'll say it again, if Rainey got 20 carries per game, it's hard not to immagine 150+ yds, 1-2 TDs. i know everyone is looking at Moore/Moody/Mon, a heavier guy, but seriously folks, Rainey is a tough football player and a threat to score every time he touches the ball.

wow, that was great.

two things....Anderson will injure that knee over and over, which will suck.

K. Moore will not be a starter...no matter how hard he works.

Rainey seems to be kicking ass, as well as Moore.

My thoughts on what we've seen thus far:

A.) Offense looks unstopable, and Defense seems noticably better.

B.) We have too many players with the same name.

"Jenkins looks good. But Jenkins will never play at this level, should've gone elsewhere."

"Moore is playing really well so far. Moore, on the other hand, is serviceable at best."

"Brandon took Brandon down in the COL drills..."

Chris Leak leads the Gators to their second National Championship and some geniuses in this thread say that he sucked. How asinine.

Pound the line for three quarters with Mon and Moody, then insert Rainey in the 4th quarter and watch him go.

I agree about Rainey.

He is the most talented back we have.

Start him.

His size and somewhat lack of strength won't matter.

You can't tackle what you can't catch. Smiler

Yea, thats actually a great idea and one that I overlooked...pound our power backs like Mon and Moody for the first three quarters and then see them try and stop Rainey or Harvin on those jet plays to the outside. No way anyone catches them.

Sounds like Rainey is playing really well...but that the defense and especially the LBs are doing well. Hopefully the coaches are noticing the times K Moore gets stuffed for little or no gain...when I see stuff on gatorsports front page that says he'll be "difficult to dislodge" it makes me nervous.

mrclean2401 you make me want to ABSOLUTELY PUKE! The three of us (all of us were members of the 84-88 Gator teams) have read your posts about Chris and are disgusted! It's funny how some JERK who probably NEVER played a sport in his life talks out of his piehole! I'm sure Chris is a MUCH MUCH BETTER ATHLETE than you ever were or will be my brotha! ANYBODY that says Chris "sucks" is a COWARD! Chris is a GREAT person and a GREAT Gator! One that believes in UF and one that could easily have transferred and of course would have been subjected to cowards like the ones running their mouths, then calling him every other name in the book and i'm sure a few racist names as well! ANYBODY that makes a post like that to me is a coward and NOT A REAL GATOR in about 99.999% in the eyes of former Gators of any UF sports! If Chris is reading this...as he so often does...Chris this is L.S. You know who this is and you know what we talked about not long ago. Keep strong C.L. There are many reading this board whose support of you never wavered. The ones talking the most smack probably never graduated high school and for sure probably NEVER attended UF.

What i could have said was ANYONE that has ever come across Chris knows what an INCREDIBLE young man he is. A man of good faith and a great ambassador for the University of Florida! GO GATORS!!!

Ya know, it's not just Chris Leak. I have no problem with people discussing technical issues of a players skills. But it tends to go way beyond that a lot and gets kind of personal. Leak took a lot of heat even when he was here and never let it show. That takes a lot of strength. Kestahn Moore is in a similar position today. It's ok to note that he fumbled in some critical situations and to discuss the pros and cons of whomever starts. But, from all I've heard, he is a tremendous young man that has given a lot to the program. When the attacks get personal, that is just not right.

Maybe the offense can play with 2 footballs this year. Sounds like we have a problem in "getting people the ball"
