The next few days/weeks will tell more of the real story. Most here is speculation. If it's fact, it's buried in fervor. ---------------- "Even after they put a gun in your face, you say let them play football?" 6 News asked. "Yeah, it's Tennessee. Lots of players at some point in their careers feel like they could do better somewhere else.
(This includes most of our offensive linemen.) One job of a coach is to get those he really wants to stay. It's a given that some players can go to some school other than Florida and not have to compete so much for playing time. We'll continue to get players who don't mind competing and those who do will continue to go elsewhere. As it stands now, I think our program is at the point where we are having to turn players away who would like to play for us. |

Uh, okay, I appreciate what you are trying to say, but I think what you meant is that this board is for vertebrates only. herb myspace.com/herbcochley |

you gotta love it,,, i truly pay attention to the lame saga for entertainment purposes,,it's enjoyable to watch someone that you have no respect for and consider a spoiled brat just continually make a fool out of themselves,,,how refreshing it must be for the vols to have a coach who gives press conferences outlining the difference in styles of the teams that have beaten them,,alabama used brute force and florida tricked us,,,hmmm,,weak and stupid,,,

Even if he wanted to come here, he would have to sit out 2 years, because it is inter-conference.

You only have to sit one year, no matter where you go. UT could, however, tell him where he can't go to release his scholarship. If he wants to play for UGA, and UT says no, then, and only then would he have to sit out for 2 years. ------------------------------------------ The Gator Sports Board .com - for Gator Sports news |

Surprise, surprise. Nu'Keese is still part of the team. Looks like you guys will have to come up with a new theory.

wow i thought it would take till lanes third class for his web of lies and moral victories to come crashing down. and it looks like im right. the whispers start now, a transfer, a lost recruit or two. by the time the 2011 class is signed we'll see big holes in his signings. the best part about this is its the same lies that he spews about other programs that is comming back to haunt. not even his two boyfriends on the gsmb can save him. (do you guys carry those same pictures of him you use as avatars in your wallets? replaced your wives from the wedding photos with lane pics? nothing like grown men having a lot of love for another grown man)
cant develope wrs? BOOM want to catch the ball instead of run or block? BOOM come to tenn and be a real receiver? BOOM thanks lane. keep those moral victories comming. by the way PERCY frigging HARVIN recruit that volunqueers |

I haven't heard the content of Kiffin's press conference, so I still don't know what the issue with Richardson was/is about.
I have seen that the Pahokee coaches are behind Kiffin on this issue. If NuKeese is upset about lack of playing time, then he is partly to blame for that. Kiffin basically handed Richardson punt return duties to begin the season. It's obvious that Nuke is fast and quick, and I wish he was our regular return man, because of his athletic ability. However, he muffed so many punts, either by fumbling or not coming to get the ball when it was kicked short. Plan and simple, Nukeese played himself out of the punt return position by his lack of production. The coaches had to put Rogan back there, because Richardson was not fielding punts worth a rip. My knock on Kiffin regarding Nuke is that he has not done enough to get his hands on the ball, either out of the shotgun or on reverses. I wish he would do more of that with Nuke. If he does, I think Richardson will feel better about his situation. My hunch is that part of what is going on is Nuke is jealous/envious of the production of other freshman. Bryce Brown, David Oku, Janzen Jackson, Marsalius Teague and Greg King at LB are all getting more reps and better production at their positions than Nuke. That is plain to see and I imagine that Nuke envisioned having similar production as both Bryce Brown and Janzen Jackson. As to why he isn't being used more in the wildcat or on reverses, I'm not sure. However, as much as I would love to see Nuke returning punts regularly, he flat out messed up a golden opportunity to nail that position down with his goofups early in the season. I would like to see Nuke get more touches, because he is a great athlete. Maybe Kiffin promised him more than he should. However, Nuke also has to be realistic that he has to produce when the opportunities arise. On some plays, he has looked great. On others, he hasn't. |

He's leaving for lack of playing time behind BB, scared of competition. He won't go to another SEC school I bet.
Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don't quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don't quit until you reach it. Never quit. Bear Bryant |
