As inept as The Sun crew can be sometimes, I don't recall any of them ever taking personal shots at another team's coach like that. Great example of Georgia class at its finest. FYI...he doesn't even have his facts straight. It was after the 2005 Alabama game that Urban got choked up and earned the nickname "Urban Crier", not LSU. Idiot. |

I'm having fun posting there as "GatorGuy". Those dog fans are so disillusioned it is funny.

Some of those posts are just hilarious by the UGA fans... There was a post by a "Gator Fan" that said if Urban has another season like last years... he should be put on the hot seat b/c there's no excuse for him to have that much talent and finish 9-4 again. What do you guys think of that? |

Sorry the quote was from a dawg fan to a gator fan... here it is... "I agree with you that if UF has another 9-4 season finishing 3rd in the SEC east then Meyer will be on the hot seat. He has way too much talent to finish like he did last year. I do think that UT will get their revenge on UF this year and give them their first loss early in the season. As we can see Meyer’s only focus is UGA and that will be his downfall." |

Yeah he'll be on the hotseat 2 years after winning a national championship and graduating nearly an entire defense full of NFL caliber players.
In case your sarcasm meter doesn't work, the previous sentences should register at about 10/10. This thread has "troll food" written all over it. |

Yeah dangators05 my "sarcasm meter" works just fine and after reading your comment my "D-bag Meter" is going off the chart right now. I thought the uga fan's comment was pretty ridiculous myself... I just wanted to know what everyone else thought but thanks for your input. |

The AJC has become a tabloid. Fact and fiction are often intermingled together to give the local teams fans a false sense of security. They have been trying to get Meyer to say something about the endzone dancing for months now. If this bothers any of you, then you don't read the AJC. If you did, you would know what kind of trash that paper truly is.

Noot14, take a pill my friend. It's all in good fun. No need for e-thugs, especially before noon.

Urban should be more worried about why his boy wonder offensive coordinator doesn't know how to handle a blitz...see Auburn twice, UGA, or Michigan all of whom dialed up sacks at will. Until Mullen figures out he needs a FB sometimes-- remember, you learned that back in 06-- teams are just going to blitz the crap out of us. We can't handle a blitz, and we can't score under pressure. Look at Mullen, not the other coaches. I'm not even going into our constant 15 yard deep prevent zone defense.
This whole celebration BS is stupid. If UGA wants to celebrate like they've never scored before and get two penalties, let them. I hope they do it every time. I like our odds with them kicking off from the 8 yard line. We promised Auburn payback last year and laid the same damn egg AT HOME. So until these coaches come up with a different plan to backup their BS, I'd keep my mouth SHUT! Last thing I want to hear is the coaches or fans whining about the Beotches celebrating. You just look stupid. |

The following is my post to that article:
"Georgia did not need the celebration to win that game. Georgia had the better team, and would have won without it. To turn the tide in this series requires more than one game. The last time I checked, Mark Richt’s record against Florida is 2-5, including a 1-2 record against Ron Zook. What I don’t understand is how Mark Richt came out against Georgia celebrating after the game two weeks earlier in Nashville on the “V” in the center of the field while the Vanderbilt players were on the way to the locker room, but orchestrated a way to celebrate in the face of Florida players in the endzone following their first touchdown? The issue of showing up another team by celebrating on their logo usually includes the other team being on the field, most often before the game begins. When a player loses his cool in the heat of the moment and does something unsportsmanlike, it’s understandable, but you don’t expect an entire team to be unsportsmanlike, unless you live in Miami. I lost respect for Mark Richt after that day because I have always considered him a man of integrity. But, it was his decision to make. What gets me is how Georgia fans think he shouldn’t be held accountable for the decision. Accept responsibility and move on. If Florida uses it as motivation before the game, then so be it. However, I do think it’s kind of comical to see all the framed pictures of the “celebration” for sale in Georgia. In Florida, we just have pictures of National Championship celebrations for sale. By the way, what championship did Georgia win last year? I know we didn’t win one, but the way they acted after beating Florida, you would have thought they had. Playing LSU the week before Florida this year will have more to do with the outcome of the Florida-Georgia game than motivation from the “celebration.” Good luck with that schedule, and please do not come up with any excuses after you lose!" |

What surprises me is that most them have respect for Tebow. Not that they shouldn't, but it was surprising to hear them say it.
