If you go to the third picture in the espn article, with Tim speaking to the inmates, the old guy with the white shirt and blue and white hat, just to the right of the pole is my dad.

And to answer questions in advance, he was a part of the group Timmy went with and is not an inmate.

Probably the ony sermon alot of those guys will ever hear. Tim will have a great reward waiting for him one day. What a great person he really is.

Good for Tim- he is using his status for good works.
Some of my buddies are involved in a prison ministry. I used to be cynical and think that this type of ministry was a waste of time. Recently I have become convinced that reaching out to the inmates can change their lives for the better.

They went to two prisons this year, one was a youthful offenders prison (18-25) and the other was a prison for drug crimes. My dad has gone on these crusades both times Tim has gone and my son went last year. Not only is this one of the few sermons these guys will hear, it is also one of the few times that they have to laugh during their time they are there. Tim really handles those situations well and does a great job talking to these inmates.

In my head, I can hear the FSU war chant and see the inmates doing the chop.

I'm just a tadbit suspicious of Tiny Tim. I sure would like to know WHO his PR person is? (Perhaps it's his MOM). Keep on falling all over yourselves concerning Tim's good deeds. . . time will tell if it is ALL geniune. (In my book, he's definitely NOOOOOOOOOO Danny. But, gators tend to be quite gullible when comes to their fine, and not so fine players.

Hey, if Tim doesn't make it in the pros, he just might make a GREAT TELE-EVANGELIST. Move over Pat, Tim is ON HIS WAY! Laugh

I will give your thoughts some careful consideration, Munchie, after all you have had decades of watching the true master of whence you speak...
