Posters on Gator Country are claiming Carlos Dunlap recently ran a 4.63 40 yard dash. This made me think of Mario Williams, who was the exact same size (an absurd 6'6", 290) and ran a 4.66.
For those that have forgotten, he was the number 1 overall pick ahead of Reggie Bush, which turned out to be a great decision. Needless to say, Dunlap hasn't done anything on the field yet. However, players this physically gifted rarely come around. If Dunlap can put a couple of good years together, he is a Top-3 NFL lock. _______________________________________________

Dunlap has to continue to improve his work ethic. Last year he took too many plays off although by the end of the year he was looking better.

Carlos Dunlap will be the best defensive end to ever play for the University of Florida before he leaves. I'm telling you guys, he is a straight up freak monster!

I said this two months ago, and got chastised for it. Dunlap will be unstoppable, especially if the other guys on the Dline can step up and draw double-teams. |

I think he has the potential to be but he has to catch up to a couple of guys named Jack Youngblood and Kevin Carter to get that title. ![]() Check out my band Righteous Sin at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbGdo1fJx_o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHwKXN6wU8M |

I believe it was in the chat with Dooley yesterday, he said that Meyer was saying the only thing that can keep Carlos Dunlap from greatness is Carlos Dunlap. Someone asked if that meant he's having problems with motivation. He responded that it isn't that he lacks motivation, but there's a difference between being motivated, and living for greatness. That is a whole different change in mindset and behavior. Apparently that's what Meyer and the coaches have been waiting to see from Dunlap, and haven't seen yet. Until then he's just talented with tools, like so many others. Hopefully having Tebow as the leader this year will inspire all of these talented guys to take a look at what living greatness really is and make it their mission to become that as well. |

Is that with you playing, or with it being simulated? also, what game level? It's much easier to get higher numbers when you are playing the person yourself. He did very well when I used him too. |

It's on All-American 5 minute quarters. I play all the games and usually use Dunlap. Of course I also had 11 sacks with Epps & 6 so far this year. I put him in when I get a big lead so I don't get my starters hurt. Between the 2 I have 55 sacks in 23 games! And that's not counting the other players. The best I ever did was with Jarvis Moss on NCAA 07 I had 61 & 65 sacks with him in 2 years! |

He has everything you would want in a DE. Now he just has to put it all together.
