Not surprising that he would have a response.
As mentioned when the UT-Alabama situation occurred, saying the refs missed/blew a call is much different than claiming they intended to influence the outcome of the game. He said the officials had an agenda (to help Alabama) and that casts doubt on the integrity of the game which is a far more serious offense. Big difference between the two in my opinion. |

It would be hilarious if Meyer doesn't get suspended and Kiffin comes out and complains aboutt he punishment and then he gets suspended.

And you'll make my day many days to come in the future. Kiffin has become the Hollywood celebrity of college coaches. The media stis at his feet like rock fans waiting for Aerosmith. There is a pattern here. Kiffin is starting to play urban Meyer like a Stradivarius. I love it. ____________________________________ kcgator Head Ball Coach Posts: 4336 Posted September 25, 2009 10:01 AM Seriously, if the mods don't ban this troll, I'm done with this forum. He is the 3 stooges of coaches. No one has any respect for him, on the field or off it. Your coach is a joke. |

The only reason the media follows Kiffin is they love watching a train wreck. This guy is on the same level of celebrity as Paris Hilton. They both only have 'celebrity' because of who their dad is, their inability to think before speaking, and that they have no problem in getting nailed by 85 guys at the same time.
Kiffin has no credibility or accomplishment of his own other than being a media whore. The only pattern for Kiffin is that he is a pathetic 'coach' with no dignity or respect and is willing to make false/racist comments if necessary. You can keep that piece of garbage in Knoxvile as long as you want. At least Fulmer understood that their is some dignity when you coach at a school in the SEC. |

Yep, I think he's like Paris Hilton. Nobody's really sure why he gets any attention, but he never says anything intelligent. |

LOL.... Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don't quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don't quit until you reach it. Never quit. Bear Bryant |

I live in TN and have the opportunity to interact with a number of UT supporters, and I am surprised by the amount of "quiet embarrassment" about Kiffin among normally die-hard fans (and boosters). They recognize a snot-nosed, done-nothing punk hasn't earned the right to act the way he has. Many think he wants to be the next Spurrier, but SOS had the good sense to start winning first.
Now I'm not talking about the rabid homers who would support Jeffrey Daumer if he were named coach, I'm talking about seasoned, long-time (read booster-type) alumni. Don't get me wrong - if he starts winning I doubt there will be any backlash, but my opinion is that he is giving himself a shorter and shorter leash every time he opens his trap. My opinion - worth what you paid for it. In all kinds of weather We'll all stick together for F-L-O-R-I-D-A |

Well you live in Nashville. Here in East Tn. closer to the actual college your experience is nothing like it is here. Never seen the fans as optomistic. They understand it will take 2-3 more years to be on the same level talent wise as the best but talent is pouring in, coaching is the best it's ever been and we have the best disipline in the SEC. Dont believe me, go to Volnation and ask what they think or read one of the many threads about Kiffin.

I see the same in W Tn and I think that those you are seeing are people who don't care how their coach or program looks, but only wins. In addition that large influx of talent does not look so large or talented without the eyesore orange glasses that some are wearing. Now don't get me wrong I see your coach making improvements and success (however limited) will come (as it already has). Just not as much as you might expect and if he gets suspended and fined we might see a fire Lame Kitten site! |

Kiffin should really take a lesson from Richt...be careful what you wish for in beating Meyer. Richt kept the first 2 games against Meyer really close and then went and beat him...since that point Meyer and UF have outscored uga 90-27 since. tennessee...be careful what you wish.

No disrespect intended, but I have a feeling that the sentiments on volnation are by those that fall into the "rabid blind faith" category, and not those long-time supporters/boosters who think character is important as much as coaching/recruiting. I travel throughout TN in my business, and while there is more passion out Knoxville way, I can say that I hear the same sentiment wherever I go. I think the difference is the Kiffin fans sing as loud as they can from the highest mountain - those UT supporters embarrassed by him are more apt to keep their opinions (and money) to themselves. << Kiffin is starting to play urban Meyer like a Stradivarius. >>
Considering that UM hasn't responded to ANYTHING said by Kiffin in weeks, and certainly not this particular verbal jab, it's hard to grasp how anyone could leap to this conclusion. At this point, nearly 6 weeks after UF and the Vols played, for Kiffin to still be turning so many comments toward UM looks pretty pathetic. He's more like the snot-nosed kid at the end of the block who screams insults when he's far enough away to run into his house. The whole thing is accentuated by Vol-homers in the media (or perhaps just Gator-haters because we're on top right now) who reference the Vols playing us "toe-to-toe" when the game was actually 2 yards from being a blow-out. And UM was right-on with his last statement about the Vols/Kiffin more than a month ago. They made no effort to win, so he played conservative. Since about September 20th, UM has moved on and won't think about Kiffin until September, 2010. Wish the Vols coach would do the same thing. Don't they play Memphis this week? Then Ole Miss after that? |

I think Kiffin fancies himself in the SOS mold with the quips and what not. He jusn't doesn't have the comedic timing of Steve. Oh, and he doesn't have the resume either. But I hear Pete at USC thinks he's swell.

Me thinks UM is afraid of a mudslinging contest because he'll end up looking like a fool. Meyer is out of his league in a one on one ball breaking duel. Fear the lips and quips of the dangerous, aggressive win at all costs Lane Kiffin ____________________________________ kcgator Head Ball Coach Posts: 4336 Posted September 25, 2009 10:01 AM Seriously, if the mods don't ban this troll, I'm done with this forum. For the first time I agree with you 100%. UM doesn't want to look anything like the kitten. A TOTAL FOOL!!!! Let the loser kitten take all of that. You and the kitten wouldn't understand...it's a "Brain" thing. __________________________ The kitten is going back to the litter box!!! |

Hey you hat full of @ss, UM doesn't want to win a war of words with the baby-boy. Last time I checked it's about Wins vs Losses, and you @sshats are on the wrong side of the equation. You all need to get some blue and a real orange....then you will feel what a champion is all about... __________________________ At least they were wearing their prison orange jumpsuits.... __________________________ |

Which game was that? I must have missed it. Out of every 100 men, ten shouldn't even be there/Eighty are just targets./Nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle./Ah, but the one,/One is a warrior,/And he will bring the others back. -HERACLITUS, circa 500 BC |

I do not know about the rest of you but I am about sick
of VOLS talk. Vols mean nothing to Florida it is a good win to beat them but they are not a team that worries me. Just think of how many times they have won against Florida since the SEC expanded. When Tenn won the NC in 98 it took some lucky breaks and a missed field goal by Florida to win. Tenn is king of wait till next year. |

It's more like, I'd say, Kiffin is playing someone's skin flute.... Alvin, I hope you never get discouraged and stop posting. It's the best entertainment dollar I spend. Wait, I don't spend anything... I don't get near as many laughs in my day as when I see some of the moronic blathering drivel you spew... Keep it up man! ![]() "I believe God gave me this athletic ability for a reason. A lot of pastors and ministers can't go to the places I've been to share my faith because they don't have the same platform. I see playing football at Florida as a ministry and opportunity to share my faith even more. It's a chance to be a missionary without the title." Tim Tebow |
