Where has all of the faith and pomp gone in your highly touted (by all gator fans here and elsewhere) new QB gone? All summer and fall it seems like everyone here was saying that John Brantley is going to be so good with Tebow gone that UF won't miss a beat in their SEC and NC quests next year and after. I am not seeing any of that here on this site.....have you lost the faith ...the swagger....the belief that Brantley is that good? HMMMMM...I am seeing a bunch of worried gators that have seen the Captain of their ship get seasick for a while..and are worried about the course of this ship. Be ashamed you Gator fans and fanettes....a new Captain is on board and you must not mutiny because he doesn't wear the mighty #15. How spoiled you are and some are probably not worthy of being called a true UF fan. You should walk a mile in some of the other SEC school fans shoes this season to see how blessed you are with such talent. Makes you think about what the true definition of a fan is! Something to think about!

Where has all the faith in Lane Kiffin gone? Four weeks ago he was the 2nd coming of Jesus and God's gift to college football coaching after you depantsed the 120th best team in FBS. Now you're all second guessing if Lane really has what it takes to win in the SEC. At least we know our quarterback has promise. Your coach couldn't gameplan his way out of a wet paper bag.

We have full confidence in Brantley. It’s just that Florida fans do most of the talking on the field of play instead of on message boards unlike Tennessee and Miami fans. Clearly if our resident Vol and Cane fans had Brantley or someone of similar elk, they would be gloating about him on this board until doomsday.

I don't follow, 99% of the people on this board are confident we win with or without Tebow. Maybe I missed it but I haven't seen anyone question Brantley's ability to win games for us or that say that the sky is falling because Tebow can't play.

Except maybe chicken little laugh

STnJR407 - you had better concern yourself with the Georgia game. They sure are not intimidated with the mighty Tennessee Volunteers in their big stadium...like, Florida and Auburn, etc. they come to beat your team...and will. You wish you had the talent of a John Brantley. Ya know, there is something else developing as the year goes along: Gene Chizik and Lame were hired the same year, inherited players that were underachievers. UT paid dearly to get Kitten and his entourage. Auburn did not; they quitely hired Chizik for a lot less, and Gus Malzan (sp?). UT is bumbling through the year, and Auburn is 5-0. Somebody got the better coach, and it wasn't that agricultural school in Knoxville.

I bet Lane is pretty upset that UF has been getting all the national attention due to our Qb having a concussion...

If I were Crompton, I'd watch my back...this has "baseball bat/fell down stairs" accident written all over it.

Everyone I know who is a Gator seems to think Brantly will do well and we'll win. What people have been concerned about is him making his first start against the #4 team in the country at their place at night. And yeah, nobody isn't saying LSU doesn't have a good D.

For the most part the conversation has gone on and on about Tebow being reinjured or being able to play. Most of us here would like to see him nail down another HE15MAN. You probably missed that angle because it's largley unspoken and assumed. You aren't one of us, you just hang around sniffing at our ankles so you're excused for missing that IMO.

They'll be 3rd-guessing Lame after he loses to the Puppies Saturday and then to the Tide two weeks later. Can you say 2-6 and 0 fer 4 in the SEC? Even before Stevie and his Gamecocks come trick or treatin' to Neyland on Halloween.

I only have 2 concerns, first is that Tebow gets well. The second is the safety of other team's fans when they realize that just cause Tebow won't be here next year doesn't mean Gator dominance will end! As soon as the game ends I think it may be for the best that we put the rest of the SEC and BCS conference team's fans on suicide whatch; all belts and shoe laces must be turned in. muttley

Listen troll. We are 100% behind Brantley and I for one think the offense will be better under him eventually. But Tim is the Greatest player in the country, and his leadership skills are second to none. SO 1 we are concerned about Tim's health and 2 if possible we would love to have our team leader on the field.

The only concern I have is Brantley's Mindset. He has shown that he prepares weekly as a backup. Instead he should prepare as a starter as if that is his offense. And as soon as he gets on the field he has to own that huddle and lead the offense.

+1 this is the answer, stnr. We're all excited about our team Post Tebow with Brantley at the helm. It is understood to anyone paying attention that he would have all of the spring and fall workouts/coaching to get ready for next season and that he'll be more than ready to play. But throwing a QB with fairly limited playing time into LSU at night for his first SEC start with no spring/summer practices as the first team qb? Please, common sense that there would be some concern.
